FILTER BAGS AND HOUSINGS

FILTER BAGS – Wide range of filter bag materials and fabrication technologies to meet every need from unique element designs that range from multilayer construction, pleated extended surfaces, and fully welded seams to advanced sealing technology, delivering performance products for both simple and complex applications.

Filter bags are an economical choice for a wide range of filtration applications. When paired with the right filter bag housing, you can minimize process downtime, reduce, or eliminate waste disposal costs, limit worker exposure to the process liquid, reduce maintenance time and expense, and improve product quality.

Surface Filtration – NMO (Nylon Monofilament) • PMO (Polyester Monofilament: Monofilament filter bags feature a wide range of retention ratings. The different materials cover many applications with demanding chemical and thermal properties. These filter bags are designed for surface filtration to retain particles that are larger than the respective pore size.

KEY APPLICATIONS: Paints and varnishes – Inks – Resins – Chemicals – Aggressive solvents

Felts – PO (Polypropylene Felt) • PE (Welded Polyester Felt):
PO filter bags comply with the industry standard of bypass-free filter bag construction. They are available in polypropylene and polyester.

KEY APPLICATIONS: Paints and varnishes – Inks – Chemicals – Process water

PE filter bags are manufactured to the highest standards. Materials must meet stringent specifications for filtration performance and media purity. Production under ISO 9001:2015 quality systems ensures reliability and repeatability from order to order, year after year.

KEY APPLICATIONS: Paints and varnishes – Inks – Chemicals – Solvents

Meltblown – The polypropylene or polyester needle felt the construction of these extended-life filter bags, along with the increased thickness of the filter material, significantly increases the dirt-holding capacity and extends the lifetime by two to five times longer than standard needle felt filter bags. These features significantly reduce operating costs. In addition, the needle-felt material with smaller diameter fibres also provides a more porous filter material while maintaining the same low initial differential pressure.

KEY APPLICATIONS: Water treatment – Chemicals – Paints and varnishes – Adhesives – Petrochemicals -Automotive – Metal processing – Food and beverage

Absolute Membrane – These filter bags constitute a new, high-performance alternative for applications requiring absolute filtration. The multistage filtration, with filter material that gets finer from layer to layer, provides optimum efficiency (greater than 99.9%) and long operating life.

KEY APPLICATIONS: Food and beverages – Pharmaceuticals – Chemicals – Inks – Water purification -Microelectronics

Whether your filtration process is mechanical, chemical, or biological, our products are designed and built to deliver quality, functionality, and reliability.

PLASTIC FILTER HOUSINGS – 01

A comprehensive range of high quality, but economical single round plastic housings. Available with either opaque or clear bowls and in both standard and large diameter Big Blue size.

All housings use a top and bottom knife edge seal for effective location of DOE filter cartridges, whilst standard size housings will also accept filters with an internal 213 o-ring endcap.

Suitable for a wide range of applications.

CF AND BF CARTRIDGE AND BAG FILTER HOUSINGS – 02

A comprehensive range of industrial and sanitary grade stainless steel housings. Sizes vary from single filter housings to round housings containing up to 263 40” cartridge filter elements, or 12 size 2 filter bags.

Housings can be tailored to individual requirements, with a complete range of connection types and sizes, and surface finish options

CARTRIDGE FILTERS

PLEATED

The pleated design has a large surface area for long lasting
filtration, providing absolute efficiency and a cost effective solution for a wide range of critical process applications.

KEY FEATURES: Filtration efficiency of 90% – Retention ratings from 0.2 to 10 μm – Available in lengths up to 40” – Pore structure design resists dirt unloading – Polypropylene construction and multiple gasket/O-ring options for broad application range.

WOUND

Wound filter cartridges offer a wide range of retention ratings. The
graded pore structure allows efficient particle retention. They are further
characterised by a low initial differential pressure combined with high flow rates.

Suitable for the filtration of process chemicals, photo chemicals, film
developers, solvents, galvanic baths, edible oils, fats, acids and bases,
process water, as well as for water treatment, condensate preparation and sea water desalination.

KEY FEATURES: String wound depth filter cartridges. Vast range of applications due to a wide chemical compatibility – Many different combinations of filter materials and inner cores

DEPTH

Designed for pre and fine depth filtration of a wide variety of beverages, liquid food, cosmetics, fine chemicals and process water. Pleated filter material provides greater surface area and high flow rates.

KEY FEATURES: Large effective filter area through pleated filter material High retention for a reliable separation effect, ß ratio ≥ 5000 or ≥ 99.98%
efficiencies for defined particles – High chemical resistance through use of 100% polypropylene.

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel depth filtration cartridges are made from
porous metal powder (316 L) and are available with retention rating of 10
μm. These filter cartridges are ideal for separating rust particles and abraded matter in steam filtration applications as well as the filtration of liquids at high temperatures.

KEY FEATURES: Pure stainless steel (316 L) – High mechanical
and thermal stability – Large pore volume and high permeability – Multiple regeneration cycles.

AIR AND DUST FILTERS

GENERAL VENTILATION FILTERS

These high-quality, energy-saving filters help protect people, processes, and products from particulate matter (PM). Choose from a wide variety of filter designs and classes – ePM10 to ePM1 – to meet your unique challenges. Our filters comply with EN779, ISO 16890, and ASHRAE 52.2 standards.

Bag Filters – or pocket filters, are used in HVAC applications as final filters in industrial, commercial, and residential applications and as prefilters in HEPA installations.

Compact Filters (Header Frame) – These V-shaped header frame filters are often used as a second filter stage in the supply air, either as the last filter stage for industrial, commercial, and residential applications or as a second prefilter stage for cleanroom applications.

Compact Filters (Box Type) – filters are deep-pleated or V-shaped filters used for applications that require good IAQ and high comfort levels and as preparatory filtration in cleanrooms.

Panel Filters – play an important role in extending the lifetime and IAQ of air handling units in residential and commercial buildings, hospitals, or even make-up units for cleanroom processes.

Media Pads – and rolls can be used as pad prefilters in air handling units, but also as filters in paint booths and similar applications.

Air Intake Screens – long-lasting, weather-resistant, easy-clean external mesh filters which stop debris such as pollen, leaves, insects, and litter before it can enter and clog coils and internal components of air handling units, chillers, dry air coolers, cooling towers, and air conditioning units.

EPA, HEPA & ULPA FILTERS

These clean air solutions help to protect sensitive advanced manufacturing processes, prevent microbiological contamination in research labs, and eliminate infectious airborne contaminants in the healthcare sector. Our filters are tested to EN 1822 and ISO 29463 standards.

Customers in heavily regulated industries with strict quality requirements trust EPA, HEPA, and ULPA filters. These filters help protect against devastating health and financial consequences, such as when a manufacturing process contaminates food or an infectious virus spread outside a research lab.

Clean room panels – HEPA and ULPA filter panels are designed for terminal filtration in applications ranging from cleanrooms and semiconductor fabrication to the food and beverage industry and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Compact Filters (Box Type) – are usually used in make-up-air or recirculation units as a final HEPA stage to protect terminal HEPA filters in cleanrooms. Can be used in the most demanding environments, from food and beverage to pharmaceuticals to microelectronics manufacture.

Compact Filters (Header Frame) – are used in facilities that require fresh, ultra-clean air to protect against contamination and costly spoilage, and that require high airflow of up to 5000 m3/h.
